This function enables the images to be saved as movie files. The slices can be saved individually (sagittal, coronal or transversal) or all in one image. A Maximum intensity Projection (MIP) picture can also be saved using this feature.
Four different methods exist for saving movies.
The first method is to go to "Save Movie" under the File menu.

The second method is to use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+M". For more on keyboard shortcuts in IVS, please see Keyboard Shortcuts.
The third method to save image slices is to use the "Movie" thumbnail in the Main Window.
The fourth method is to open the MC (MIP Control) thumbnail in the Main Window. There is an option here to save the movie
Selection of the "Save Movie" option opens a navigation window where the target repository for the saved movies may be selected. The movies can be saved in the appropriate folders for later viewing.

Here the file name and type can be specified.
The movies can be saved as the following file types:
There is also an option to save the images as any type of file.
The is an option to include the color bar in the saved movies by using the Color bar options drop-down window.
The Movie type drop-down window enables the user to define what type of movie to be saved. A MIP can be saved by highlighting Maximum intensity Projection. A movie which scrolls through the slices of each of the planes (sagittal, transversal or coronal) can also be selected by highlighting the appropriate option in the drop-down menu. There also exists an option to save the all the movies separately.
